Release Notes Version 2.0.4

Discover new functionalities and improvements introduced in this version.

Efficiency and control are at the heart of the new eZmax update. In version 2.0.4, you can now edit a document’s fields without losing existing signatures.

New Functionalities

You can now modify fields that have not yet been completed in a partially signed document without losing signatures that have already been completed.

For example, if Julie has already signed the document and you need to add or modify a signature field for Vincent, you can now do so without restarting the signing process.

How does it work?

In the sent folder, select “Edit Document Fields.”

The document will open, and all existing signatures will remain visible and be preserved. You can then add new fields or modify and delete fields that have not yet been completed.
Need to modify a field that has already been signed?

If you need to modify all fields in the document, including fields that have already been signed, use the “Return to Editing Step” action instead.

In this case, a warning will inform you that this action will result in the loss of all existing signatures. You will need to confirm before proceeding.

Key takeaway

  • Edit Document Fields = Existing signatures are preserved.

  • Return to Editing Step = Existing signatures are removed.
