Good news: Synchronizing steps between multiple documents is now much smarter and more automatic. Thanks to the new “forced steps” mode, the system replicates the same steps from one document to another: if Caroline and Julie are at step 1 and Vincent at step 3 on the first document, as soon as you add their signature fields to another document, they are automatically placed in the correct step, without having to reconfigure anything.

If a signer doesn’t need to sign a document, they can simply not appear on it, while maintaining the overall logic of the file.

The result: a much smoother experience for building multi-document files, with a truly locked signature sequence: the system only moves to the next step when the previous step is completed, regardless of the document. Perfect for avoiding out-of-order submissions and ensuring a consistent signature workflow.
